Crypto Portal for Teachers The Crypto Portal for Teachers is currently only available in German, but is intended to act as a platform for teachers to share teaching materials and related links concerning cryptology.
Cryptography for Young Learners This event for teachers and students was held for the first time in 2009. The goal is to teach students, with the help of the freely available CrypTool software, about encoded messages and the importance of cryptography in the modern digital world.
CrypTool-Online - Encrypt directly in your browser This JavaScript-based application offers a highly interactive platform for the execution of ancient and modern cryptographic algorithms directly in your browser.
CrypTool-Mobile - Encrypt directly in your smartphone This website provides the same cryptographical algorithms as in CrypTool-Online, but designed for access with a smartphone, which could prove particularly interesting for geocaching. This website is still in progress.
MysteryTwisterC3 - The Crypto Challenge Contest This is an international competition with a variety of cryptographic challenges of different degrees of difficulty. The challenges were written by many different authors in both English and German, and of course there is also a Hall of Fame. This website is still in progress.

Ports to other platforms (started independently of the CrypTool Project):
CrypTooLinux CrypTooLinux is a project to extend and port the Windows program CrypTool 1.x to Linux. It is a C++/Qt4 application.
The first beta version was released in November 2007, followed by a second beta in December 2008. No further versions have been since released.
